Great place to be immediately before and immediately after the game (and during!). LOVE the fried mac & cheese, and the DJ really gets the crowd going to celebrate a win (or release stress after a loss).

My wife Karma and I traveled to Detroit for the Stanley Cup playoffs and stumbled onto Cobo Joes by chance. It was the best sports bar we encountered during our stay in Detroit.
