Great things take time. So, many years ago PizzaPapalis began a search to discover a true pizza masterpiece. They looked in the Midwest and on both coasts and uncovered a number of excellent pizzas - but they didn't feel that any of them went far enough with their ingredients. Well, PizzaPapalis does, in every pizza they bake. In fact, there are many tasty deep dish style pizzas - especially in Chicago - but there is only one PizzaPapalis® pizza, made Chicago style!

Comparing PizzaPapalis to others in this catagory is like comparing apples to oranges - These are Pizza PIES and like NO OTHER! One slice a MEAL! Simply the BEST !

As a former travel writer picking the best choices throughout Michigan I give highest Kudo's to this geat Pizzaria! They use the best ingredient's, their pepperoni is superb, the crust is sublime. How fortunate the Detroit area is to have a fantastic pizza establishment like this one! If you haven't tried it, this is a MUST. I highly recommend the deep dish.......ENJOY!

Whoa mama! One slice and then split a second one, take the rest home and eat for a couple more days. Also fun to people watch from window tables.

The crust is like no other, pastry dough, sweet , buttery and crisp. The sauce is a nice balance of ripe tomatoes with a hint of sweetness!! Better than any Chicago Style pizza.

When it's time for me to pay on a date, I hit 'em with the seafood deep dish. Then say, "I bet you can't finish this slice and if you don't you have to pay!" I win every time.

Great deep dish pizza in the heart of Greek Town. Perfect location to eat and then enjoy a night on the town.

The flavor is awesome. All the seasonings, the sausage and the cheese all dance together to create a great Chicago-style pizza. It is so thick that I can buy one pizza and enjoy it for a few days. It is always worth the hour drive to order one.

Oh My Goodness! Their spinach deep dish pizza is just the most outstanding pizza I have ever had. What a bummer that the restaurant on Auburn Rd. closed last Spring (2006). We now have to travel to Dearborn or GreekTown - but it's worth it!
