Why I think the Detroit ScienceCenter is the best is, because I like their exhibits, especially, the Imax Theater. Their movies are the best! Also, I like how hands-on their exhibits are. They also feature something for everyone, (in every age group). Another thing I like about them is, they have the best souvenir shop around. (Better than the other museums in the area!).
I love the atmosphere of learning and excitement that the Science Center provides for me and my family.
The Detroit Science Center has become the premier venue for people of all ages and backgrounds seeking educational enrchiment and fun.
My family has always had a great learning experience there, and the kids can never get enough.
Best museum in Detroit, Human Body and all their attractions for the schools. We go every year.
Has a lot of variety for all ages. There is something for everyone there. Every exhibit makes you think and explore.
The DSC engages its visitors with interactive learning . Its exhibits are always evolving and the staff is very friendly.
Very hands-on and educational and fun. The IMAX and exhibits (like Titanic) were sensational!
The interactive exhibits that are on display are fun for children and adults. You forget that you are learning when you are playing with all of the stations.
The Detroit Science Center is very impressive and helped restore confidence in Detroit, and renewal and captivated people with the Human Body Exhibit. Kudos in 2007 to them.
The DSC strives to interest children in science and technology, in order to help develop the future of the city.
The renovated New Detroit Science Center is very customer friendly. It is truly a family destination. They are going outside of their traditional exhibits with the "Body" exhibit, which is excellent.
Not only is it a great museum, but also has a dedicated staff of employees that genuinely care about the exhibits on display.
The Detroit Science Center is one of the best attractions in Michigan due to the volume of constantly changing activities for the whole family, including: giant screen films in Michigan's only IMAX Dome Theatre, several different shows in a state-of-the-art planetarium, traveling exhibits such as the current blockbuster Our Body: The Universe Within - Actual Human Bodies, dozens of permanent science related exhibits, two stages with live shows, and a new 80 foot replica of the Mackinaw Bridge.
The Science Center gives a lot of children great opportunities to explore science!
Because the Detroit Science Center inspires children and their families to discover and appreciate science, engineering and technology in a dynamic, fun learning environment. This is more important now than ever as students steer clear of science and math programming and we are losing future generations of a skilled American workforce in these technology and science arenas. The U.S. can't afford to lose the opportunity to fill crucial technological jobs because we don't have enough skilled workers in SE Michigan. The economic future of SE Michigan depends on a workforce that includes women and minorities as well, who are often groups that don't pursue science and technology as a an educational or career track. The Detroit Science Center exposes youth to opportunities that will inspire them to pursue a future in technology!
My childrens #1 place to go if they have the choice. Friendly staff, imax, and planetarium, can't be beat, and the body exhibit is out of this world.
