Real butter topping and there are always quality independent films. The historical qualities add a nice atmosphere to the experience.

The Michigan Theater offers a wide variety of great films, new and many favorite classics! The film festival during the spring always has a great selection of Indie films. They also hold many great concerts and shows! All in all, the Michigan Theater provides the movie goer with a fabulous movie experience.
The Michigan still shows real previews without 10 minutes of commercials.

I have attended the Michigan Theater for over 50 years and am so grateful that it still is thriving and plays wonderful movies, live shows, and has the best popcorn in Ann Arbor. It's a true treasure.
It looks great, you get an organ concert before the movie. And they run movie that you couldn't see other places. My husband and I love going there!
