The best films and other quality performances. They donated 5 free showing of the Zeitouna movie- of Arab/Jewish Dialogue- to promote peace. And it is a beautiful and elegant place, besides!

The Michigan Theater offers a wide variety of great films, new and many favorite classics! The film festival during the spring always has a great selection of Indie films. They also hold many great concerts and shows! All in all, the Michigan Theater provides the movie goer with a fabulous movie experience.

The Michigan still shows real previews without 10 minutes of commercials.
The Michigan has a live pipe organ and shows silent movies with organ and live music accompaniment. The Michigan has the most diverse programming of any theater in Michigan.
The best popcorn, friendliest staff and it's a non profit institution. Thank you Michigan Theater!

I have attended the Michigan Theater for over 50 years and am so grateful that it still is thriving and plays wonderful movies, live shows, and has the best popcorn in Ann Arbor. It's a true treasure.

It looks great, you get an organ concert before the movie. And they run movie that you couldn't see other places. My husband and I love going there!
