The philosophy at Steve Hightower's Hair Artists' Studio can be summed up in one phrase: 'team work'. Team play is a must. Where one artist can create a satisfactory experience for a client, a team can create a memorable experience. Understanding the importance of continued education, Steve encourages the individual team members to develop as stylists. He often teaches individual employees the latest and best hair and skin techniques, empowering them to provide their customers with the best service possible. He also teaches, works and attends hair shows nationally as platform artist and styling director.

An environment like no other ... a spacious salon yet intimate in every way, decor as cozy as your in-town living room dimly lit on a Saturday evening, and Stylists that not only know their craft, but really get to know their clients. You owe it to yourself to visit!

I think they are the best because Steven and his staff do everything with a passion and are always professional. Not only has Steve squeezed me in his very tight schedule at times but he has been very generous of his time and given me some great discounts at times because he knows I'm a struggling student. Thanks Steve!

If you have fine, thin hair, Steve is the man for you. Besides giving a great style and cut, his advice of products is the greatest. Garri and Maria are also wonderful with color, makeup, facials and advice! I look forward to every visit. Their friendliness can't be beat. They are the best salon in Atlanta!

My stylist Maxx is fantastic. He is so very talented and efficient at the same time. I am an African American woman with two small children and a busy schedule. Maxx keeps my hair healthy and styles it in low maintenance but sophisticated ways. Maxx helps me transition from carpool lines to nights out with my husband or friends. I also look forward to visiting Steve Hightower's salon. Everyone is always so welcoming and professional. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, never pretentious.

I recently went to the salon to visit my stylist, Maxx, who always gives me a fabulous look. I had a black tie event that evening and needed makeup application. I had planned to just go to the mall and have it done at one of the cosmetic counters. Steve heard about it and suggested that I have one of their professional makeup artists do it at the salon immediately after getting my hair done. I told him that I had not budgeted for that expense and would keep their skin care services in mind for future needs. He then kindly arranged for me to receive a complimentary makeup application. In no time at all, Maria gave me a glamorous night time look using all natural makeup that blended perfectly with my African American skin tone. It was one stop shopping for all of my skin care and hair care needs. As always, it was a wonderful salon experience!
