Punjabi Dhaba has the best Indian food. They don't skimp on the spices and ingredients so everything tastes sooooo good. Your mouth starts to water as you turn the corner from Cambridge Street. Personally, I love the Paneer Chili Masala. No one can make it like the guys at Punjabi Dhaba- trust me, I've tried it at several other Indian places.
From Prep till eaten, the food & the people working with my food enhances the only essence i miss about INDIA. Love the place and the food is just blessed
Highest quality to dollar ratio of any restaurant in Boston. By far. Also, best atmosphere of any restaurant in Boston.
Punjabi Dhaba is Awesome!, but... you don't have to take my word for it... just go and see for yourselves... It will be most likely packed... and more than half the clients will probably be Indian. -- this tells you a lot about the AUTHENTICITY of the food! - if that matters at all to you! ;-) To all the staff at the Dhaba -- KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
I'm a student at Harvard, and for the past 2 yrs my friends and I have always gone to Punjabi Dhaba to hang out and eat yummy authentic food, and to listen to the great music! We just won't go anywhere else, because no where else feels like home. Dhaba is definitely A-List in my book.
Punjabi Dhaba..what can I say...great place great food and service with a smile..you guys rock!!!Just wish there was a dance floor to dance to the bhangra music that they play there!!! Keep up the good work guys!!!
Dhaba is one of the most unique restaurants in the Boston area. Cheap high-quality Punjabi-style cuisine in a unpretentious yet-simple atmosphere. This simple atmosphere (including the unforgettable Bollywood movies on loop) is what allows them to keep the prices down.
Now don't get me wrong, the prices aren't DIRT cheap (you still pay ~10-12 for a full meal, but for high quality Indian cuisine, that's incredible. My favorite dishes are the saag paneer, malai kofta, and lamb vindaloo. Order the aloo paratha instead of naan or try the fresh pakoras.
Punjabi Dhaba is delicious! A neighborhood favorite. I could eat there every day.
I eat here on a regular basis and it is one of the best places for Indian food I have ever found. The Tikki Chole is REALLY good!
Punjabi Dhaba supplies a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price. What a great place!
I am originally from India and Punjabi Dhaba has great inexpensive Indian food. I really love their Aloo Ghoobi! I hope they win!
The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always relaxed and friendly.
Consistently good food with reasonable prices! They have a great variety of Indian food...
They have nice Punjabi traditional food. Sometimes they put the nice old traditional music.
It's the only place in Boston that is a actual fast food Indian Cafe and it's made fresh there.
This restaurant is fairly cheap and has the best tasting Indian food that I've found in Boston.
Punjabi Dhaba is the best, most reasonable priced and tastiest Restaurant in Cambridge.
It's not about the service or the ambiance, though they have their own seinfeldian bizzarro-world charm; it's all about the food. Epic.
Awesome food! A fun, simple environment (the metal trays are perfect). Great prices.
They're the best (in fact the only) affordable Indian food around the Harvard Sq. area.
When I first walked into Punjabi Dhaba, the ambience reminded me of Punjab. Taking a bite into the veggie platter, I knew I was in Punjab eating my grandma's cooking.
Delicious food, excellent prices and great music & they received Best of Boston 2006.
