Playful Pooch, a family owned and operated facility, offers dog daycare, overnight boarding and grooming with a lot of free love and attention thrown in! We are conveniently located near Stapleton and Park Hill, only four blocks south of I-70 at Exit 277 - ON THE WAY TO DIA! We have three webcams, three indoor play areas, 4,500 square feet of outdoor play areas and extra large kennel suites with large pet cots at no extra charge!

Playful Pooch is extraordinary!!! I have a rescue dog with some "issues" and I was concerned that he might not fit in at daycare. Kaiser has now been a client of Playful Pooch for over a year, and I am amazed at the level of care and professionalism displayed by the staff at the Pooch. Kaiser absolutely loves to go to daycare, and the staff have been so patient with him and treated him with such care that I am so grateful that my "difficult" dog now has an extended family that I completely trust to take great care of him. Brenda and the rest of the staff deserve recognition for their exceptional service, and for truly caring for the pups that are entrusted to them. I can't say enough about the Pooch!

I travel frequently and have high standards when leaving my dog in the hands of strangers. Let me say that I have been very pleased with the service they provide. My dog always enjoys staying their and begins to get excited as I get closer to their location. I even get to check in on her to see how she is doing via their online webcams. Will and Brenda have always been very professional, friendly and caring. I highly recommend Playful Pooch to take care of your pets.

Before we moved to Denver, my dog used to drag me out when we reached the old kennel and started to shiver. Now, he just wags his tail and walks right into Playful Pooch without looking back! He loves his vacation there and we love Brenda and Will who are so attentive and caring to my boy.

Brenda & Will are absolutely the sweetest, most accommodating business proprietors I've ever met, and they're love for the animals is endless. It's so wonderful to know that our two dogs are known by name even though they don't stay very often. The Pooch is very concerned about adhering to my dog's prescription diet, and administering medications. Definitely the only place I feel safe leaving my loved ones when they can't go with me.

I have used Playful Pooch many times and have always been very satisfied. I have an Austrailian Cattle dog who was very busy when I first took him to Playful Pooch. Will and Brenda are always greeting you with a smile and treats for the dogs .I have recommended them to all my friends who have four legged love one's.
I just recently recommended them to a lady who's dog was bitten by another dog at another doggy day care. This was her dog's first day.

Cagney loves going to "camp" at Playful Pooch. He always runs in excited to be there. He comes home clean, tired and happy. I love the web cams - I can watch Cagney play with the other dogs and his human friends who are always willing to give him a pat or throw a ball for him which he loves. They are extremely easy to work with - I just email them to let them know when I need a reservation and it is all taken care of.

Playful Pooch is an amazing, clean and safe doggy daycare! My dog has spent plenty of days and nights at Playful Pooch. She is always eager to get in the door and never willing to leave! I have actually had to drag her out the door! She loves all her other doggy friends but mainly enjoys all the lovin she receives from the owners! Thank you to the Miller family (owners)!

This is the best doggie day care around!! I had special circumstances with the DNC being in town and everyone at Playful Pooch were so helpful! My dog loved it and they took special care to make sure he remained happy. This is the only place I will take my dog from now on!!

Having recently moved to New York City, the home of dog walkers and much needed dog boarding and day care, we've been all over the city and still can't find any place that we would feel comfortable leaving our dog, Pepe. Playful Pooch has now ruined us by setting the standard for dog care. We wouldn't trust him with anyone other than those of the staff at the Playful Pooch. Will and Brenda are the best, there is no comparison. The next time we travel long distance and cannot take Pepe, we will fly to Denver first, to leave him with our trusted friends at The Pooch.

You feel oh so comfortable leaving your pet. All tags wagging -- our dog can't wait to get through that gate. Friendly, kind, competent people attend her & her new dog friends needs. You hear a quick "how it went" report. Facilities are spotless, pleasant, positive. What more can you say! Oh an there's a doggy cam for remote viewing of all that play!

My husband and I just moved to Colorado a year ago and are super protective dog owners. We were worried about where to leave our dog when we went on vacation. I picked up a brochure from my vet's office about The Playful Pooch and went over to meet the staff and take a tour. It is super clean and everyone is really friendly. I was very satisfied with the attention that is given to all the dogs. I also love that wherever we are we can check on our girl via the web cam! We will never leave our dog anywhere else! Playful Pooch is a home away from home for my three dogs and I thank heaven for Brenda and Will and the staff at Playful Pooch. Thierr passion for dogs or my babies, is even more over the top than I am and I feel extremely secure when we are out of town for any peroid of time. They go above and beyond any other kennel I have used in the past. The recent addition of grooming has become an added bonus!

I first went to Playful Pooch because of it's convienent location, but I continue to go because of the quality of the facility and the care each person there gives to my dog. He is a happy and worn out pup after a day with all his dog buddies. I can even watch him on the webcam from work. I won't take my dog anywhere else!

There isn't a better place for dog daycare or boarding in Denver and the grooming services are great. Brenda and Will are the best and our dogs love it there. We have been to the other providers and Playful Pooch wins hands down. You owe it to your pet to give it a try.

Before finding Playful Pooch, my dog was terrified to go to boarding. Now, both of my dogs are so excited the moment that we pull up that they don't even say goodbye to me! They just run on in and back to play. I feel very comfortable with the care that Will and Brenda give them along with all of the personal attention from the rest of the staff. My dogs are happy there and so am I! You'd be crazy not to use them!

I just got back from a 10-day trip and picked Roger and Annie up at Playful Pooch. My shy dog had such a good time that he wasn't so sure he wanted to leave. I emailed Will and Brenda last nite to see if the dogs could be groomed before I picked them up. They looked as cute as cute can be. I can really say that I trust Roger and Annie with Will and Brenda and can feel more comfortable now making more travel plans because my dogs will be so well taken care of.

Absolutely the best boarding and day care in Denver. I've checked them all out and no one makes you feel as comfortable as the owners and staff here. I actually feel bad because I haven't brought my dog to them enough lately! Me and my dog Miko love this place!! Thanks Will and Brenda!

I have to say that the Playful Pooch is the CLEANEST boarding facility in and around Denver (even among the famous ones). The staff @ PP are the most caring and friendly people you could meet. They are very concerned about the condition of the facility and the care they provide for all of the dogs. EVERY time my dog stayed at that "Other" facility, he contracted kennel cough, and he was there at least two to three times a year. He has NEVER come home with fleas or kennel cough. He is always excited to go and he is TIRED when he gets home. He loves the Pooch and so do I! If you need a place for your dog to play, then head to the Pooch!

I am very protective of my dogs, and I knew I'd find the right place to board them when I could leave without crying. I found that at the Playful Pooch, and I am happy to leave my dogs there when I can't take my dogs with me. They are never too far away when I can log on to the internet and watch them play on my computer!

Playful Pooch is a blessing in our lives. My dog has second parents in Will and Brenda and we could not be more happy. Everybody at here is so friendly and loves dogs so much!!! The attention that all the dogs get makes it very comforting to know that your little furry family member is in great hands!!! This place is absoulutly amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!!! Blue has second parents in Will and Brenda and loves them to death. My baby loves this place so much that he know as soon as we turn onto holly he starts crying and going crazy in the car he gets so excited!!! It is a great place to take your pup!!! Again Will, Brneda, Jason, and all of the staff are simply amazing...your dog or dogs will without any doubt be in good hands!!!!

My two pups, Jack and Lucy, LOVE both Will and Brenda and going to the Pooch. Everytime Jack sees Brenda he just goes nuts! They come home from day care / boarding as two worn out and happy pups and I know they receive plenty of attention and love while I am at work or away (which I cannot say for other day care centers in the Denver area). I would never leave my dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend the Pooch for all dogs, big and small!

These owners are true pet lovers and wonderful people. Playful Pooch is like the Club Med of dog care--the dogs have a fantastic time, get to play outside and with one another. Playful Pooch offers great grooming services as well.

This is the best place to leave our 2 Lhasa Apso while we are traveling.
Very responsible! and real dog lovers took care of may dogs.
We will ask them to keep my dogs when we go to Japan for 2 weeks.

This place is amazing! Our 2 (spoiled) dogs get so excited every time we drive up to their facility. They treat them like gold. It's an awesome place with a great program.

It doesn't get any better than the Pooch when it comes to great petcare. I discovered this spot nearly a year ago when I adopted my black lab, Murphy, from the Dumb Friends League. He had severe separation anxiety and hated to be alone. I did not know what to do with him and started looking for a daycare facility. After his first week at the Pooch, I was sold. He knows when he's going there and starts to get excited before we even leave the house. Most of the time when I pick him up at the end of the day, he tries to run back to the play area because he doesn't want to leave his pals! Brenda and Will and the rest of the staff are wonderful. I know that they treat my dog like I do: as a family member. Their constant care and generosity has touched us and we would not take Murphy anywhere else.

Playful Pooch is the best!! Our 2 year old Cocker Spainal Genie stayed at the Pooch the very first weekent that Will and Brenda took over, she came back happy and very tired! The all day play is the best, it is great exercise for the pets and lots of fun. Genie has stayed on several more extended vacations at the pooch and we would never think of taking her anywhere else!!

I can't say enough about how blessed I am to have found "The Pooch"! As my only "children", I am very picky about where Maggie and Jack can stay, and not only am I satisfied - the "kids" LOVE it! Every staff member there treat the dogs as if they were their own and love them as such! In addition, Brenda, Will, Jason, etc. also care as much about the owners and their furry guests! I am fairly new to Denver, and was recently hospitalized. My boyfriend traveled in to stay with the dogs, but - imagine my surprise - when I received a get well card from the owners of "The Pooch"! They definately have a place in my heart! The dogs and I have lived, and they have been boarded, all over the US and multiple places in Denver prior to finding "The Pooch", and I can honestly say -- THIS IS THE BEST! All I have to do is ask "Wanna go to the Pooch", the dogs light up and run grab their leashes! They are actually more excited than if I offered them a treat -- and that says a lot for my chow hounds! Not only would I recommend Playful Pooch to anyone -- I would insist upon it!!!

Brenda & Will Miller Rock! They have completely transformed the Playful Pooch since taking over earlier this year. My six year old boxer mix Karma loves going there for boarding, and believe me, it's her home away from home considering the amount of travel I do for work. I wouldn't feel comfortable entrusting my 'little girl' to anyone else. As the other comments state, Karma has never come home with anything other than a smile on her face and completely worn out from all the fun and exercise she gets while there. Keep up the great work!!!!

The owners, Will and Brenda Miller are the greatest. The kennel is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. I worked for a noted veterinarian for several years while going through college and I can honestly say that this is the best run kennel I've ever seen. My dog Dizzy is a 14 year old English Setter and she loves to go to day care or to board. She NEVER comes home with fleas, kennel cough, or dirty. I can't say that about some of the other kennels in Denver.

our canine twosome lodged at PLAYFUL POOCH over the thanksgiving holiday. we truly believe the level of care at PP is superior, especially given that ours are rescue mutts with some special needs. the PP staff was sensitive to their needs and really made the extra effort to ensure they were happy, safe, and comfortable. A++
