Play and Stay Pet Care Center was created out of a desire to improve the overall pet care experience for both pets and their owners. Your pet’s best care is our first priority. We strive to offer to our customers the services, prices and flexibility that we, as pet owners ourselves, would like to receive from the marketplace, in a professional, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and without breaking your budget. We understand that our customers’ needs are always changing, and Play and Stay will remain flexible to accommodate those changes. We adamantly believe pets need exercise, stimulus, and affection as a part of a complete and positive care experience. All of these are included as part of the inherent service that Play and Stay insists upon as a prerequisite for a healthy and happy stay away from home and not just a price list item available to purchase.

My 3 terriers love Play and Stay, They come home tired and worn out and I feel comfortable with them taking care of the little darlings.

My dogs love staying here!! They get soo excited when we pull in the parking lot!! They have a lounge with a window that you can look through to see your dogs playing. I recommend it to everyone.

This is the cleanest and best run dog care facility my wife and I have ever used. The owners are more dedicated to this business and your dogs than anybody you will ever meet.

All I can say is Dan and Jodi and the entire staff are wonderful! I had to give up my dog for a short time and when I got her back we discovered she had a terrible case of separation anxiety. If not for Play and Stay I would have had to give her up for good this time! I feel totally at ease knowing that when she is there she is safe and well cared for. They go above and beyond treating each animal as an individual, paying attention to their own special needs. I would reccommend Play and Stay to anyone who needs day care or boarding for any animal! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!

Of all the places I've brought my dogs to over the past ten years in six different states, I've never experienced the kind of outstanding care and holistic approach to dog daycare and boarding. It makes the 18 mile trek from Detroit to their facility worth every hiked up gas dollar to know that my dogs will be staying under Dan and Jodie's care. It's important when I'm gone for 4 or 5 days at a time each month that I have a reliable place for the "kids" to play, socialize, get individual attention, and to have fun. I wholeheartedly recommend Play and Stay Pet Care Center for all dog owners who care about their pets' general well-being while away. Thanks again for the great service over the past year!

We take our two dogs to Play and Stay's "large dog play group" every Sunday, and they love it. Not only do they have an opportunity to socialize and play with other dogs (giving them good exercise), but as pet owners, we have an opportunity to meet other dog owners in the area. It's a nice way to meet new friends and trade training tips, new product tips, etc. The large, climate controlled indoor play area is great because the dogs can go every week regardless of the weather or temperature outside. Dan and Jody are great with animals and have taken the time to personally get to know both of our dogs. Although we haven't utilized the boarding services yet, we wouldn't hesitate to do so. Our dogs look forward to going to Play and Stay every week and get so excited everytime we pull into the parking lot.

What a wonderful facility!!! My first meeting with Dan and Jodie was very friendly and personal able. When first meeting my dog Dan got on the floor to greet her, which really made an impression on me. It is extremely clean with lots of room. I was happy to see Dan and Jodie were there when I dropped Zoe off and when I picked her up in the evening, made me feel very happy to know they are supervising things all day. Also knowing they are a 24/7 place makes me feel comfortable leaving her at all time, even on weekends she can be dropped off to play. Thank you so much!!!

Play and Stay is an outstanding facility in so many ways. Boarder dogs are not stuck in a pen for the whole time their owners are gone, they are in supervised play areas where they can socialize and enjoy the play that dogs are meant to do. There is a huge outdoor area plus the indoor play area for bad weather days. It's air conditioned in the summer and warmed in the winter and the thick mats on the floors are more joint-friendly than concrete. Jodie and Dan know each animal by name and assess their personalities before putting them into play groups. It's wonderful to drop off my high energy pup for a couple of hours while I shop, knowing he loves it and wearing him down so there's quiet nap time when we get home!

My dog goes here every week. He has made many friends and is better all-around behavior wise because he is burning off all that energy. I used to think my dog was high-maintenance, but after going to Play and Stay, he has become so much more manageable. I can even take him to training classes after he has been playing all day.

The folks at Play and Stay are personable, knowledgeable and treat each client as a welcome guest. Boarding guests are expected to join daycare guests in all-day group play and only spend time "in kennel" to eat and sleep. Flexible play space allows groups to be mixed-and-matched throughout the day (and into the evening) so they have the opportunity to make new friends during their stay. In addition, they are open for daycare from 6:30 am - 10:00 pm every day of the week and don't limit drop-off or pick-up to specific hours, making them the most user-friendly pet care center in the industry! Finally, base prices are very reasonable and they offer discounts for multi-day packs and for additional dogs in the same family. Play and Stay definitely lives up to their tag line, "More than just another DOG HOUSE!".
