Saeed, one of the hair dressers in Piaf, has no idea what he is doing. I had beautiful curly dark brown hair which all hair dressers admire that. In order to keep make it look that beautiful, I had to let my hair to grew for about 2 years to get rid of the short layers in my hair and make it same length to let the curls show themselves. I had told that to Saeed and he was aware that I do not want short layers in my hair. One Sunday, I went to Piaf and asked Saeed to give me few highlights to create a little dept and trim a little around my hair. As usual, he put dark hair color on my skin and could not get it put so my skin was stained. When at end looked in the mirror and saw my hair, I was about to cry; this idiot had colored my hair to light brown and put lots of orange highlights around and cut it in short layers and styles it in 70s style. He has not done a good cut; top of my hair is too short the way the when it get curled up (which it does it in summer all the time) it stays in the air while the bang in front is not that short. Every day I get up and look at my hair, I regret going to that salon. I colored my hair all back to dark brown and got rid of his orange color.
Now I have to wait another 2 years till my hair to look the same way it as before Saeed touches my hair. I could not let my hair to be curly anymore because of the hair; it curls my hair up and freezes in the air. If you like your hair, do not choose Saeed as your hair dresser.

I had heard good things about a stylist named Melissa from a friend of mine. I made an appointment with her and the outcome was phenomenal. She did an unbelievable cut and color but more importantly, she styled my hair perfectly.

Thank you Piaf and Melissa. I will be coming back again...me and my friend.

Like most people these days I have a busy life with the rigors of work and my commitment to my family. Therefore, in those rare occasions when I am able to do something nice for myself, like get a massage, I relish it. My visit to Piaf Salon and Day Spa was the worst spa experience that I have EVER had and left me feeling worse than I did when I got there. The room was a mess and not at all relaxing; there was not the typical soft music that accompanies a massage. The only noises were the radio that could be heard from the salon and the people who were conversing loudly outside of the massage room the entire time. As if that was not enough, when I was finally able to relax a bit, another staff member of the salon knocked on the door and could be heard outside saying, "Oh no. Not again." The massage therapist opened the door to a barrage from her colleague. "I told you to tell me when you are here. I need all of my stuff." The therapist closed the door and tried to get her things for her, but a moment later the woman walks in and says, "Don't worry. I'm a girl too. I'm not looking." and proceeds to grab her things with a running narrative. "My stuff is all over the room. Hand me my magazine. I need that too. You need to tell me when you are here..." They even rolled her cosmetic cart out. On and on; you get the picture. It was impossible to relax after that. What made it even worse was the response of the manager. I asked the massage therapist if I could speak to the manager. She came back and said that she told the manager what happened and she said she was sorry. If I still wanted to talk to her I could go back to where she was sipping a beverage and chatting with other stylists in the salon. I went back to speak to her and she was entirely indifferent and said, "She didn't know you were in there." The saving graces of this establishment were the massage therapist who was trying her best to make the experience pleasant despite the horrible surroundings and the receptionist who was deeply apologetic. I will NEVER return to that place. It was awful!

Vera, the aestetician does one of the most amazing facials I've ever had. My skin glows when I leave the salon and people complement me on how great my complexion looks! Because of her, I have made it a habit to go on a regular basis.
