I'm somewhat new to the area, and stumbled upon the name of Paul Michaels salon by surfing the internet. The reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. As others have noted, it was a great experience. The main thing is, Paul himself, the person who did my color and cut, LISTENED to exactly what I wanted and gave it to me. The person I had gone to before at another salon hadn't listened, as some stylists won't and don't. So the fact that he did hear me, alone sold me. On top of that, he colored my hair in a very natural way, with a few highlights, so I wouldn't have a lot of maintenance. Again, this is something he asked me about when I arrived, and he listened to my answer and didn't just do what he felt like doing. Everyone there was genuinely friendly, and Paul was right there alongside everyone doing his own magic.

I have been a customer of Paul for close to five years and all I can say is that the haircuts and coloring are awesome! Paul gives you exactly what you want and the quality of the products used for coloring leave my hair very conditioned. Plus the pricing is very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend him and his salon.

Paul is the best in the D.C area I have searched high and low for someone who can highlight my hair without frying it and having my hair end up looking like a solid color of blonde. I don't now how he does it but I still have the exact amount of highlights I started with 2 years ago, my hair is in the best condition it has ever been, Paul is simply the best and his haircut is top notch.I will never go anywhere else!

Great, Very Pleased! Paul did a wonderful job repairing the horror my hair was in, he really explains what works and what doesn't, great job I will definitely be back for sure.

I highly recommend Paul Michael as your one and only hairstylist. Paul posses an extraordinary artistic gift for hair coloring, and cutting hair. He as an amazing ability to make you look like a STAR. His wonderful and energetic personality makes your visit to his salon a pleasurable experience. As far as I'm concerned Paul is irreplaceable. I am truly happy and lucky to have found him.

Paul is awesome , had to wait four days before I was able to get an appointment but he was well worth it.I'd never been there before, but Paul was amazing! I didn't really know what I wanted, just knew I wanted to keep it long-ish but my hair was just so lank and boring - just lays there. Man, did he take care of that! I also feel like I have thinning hair and he made it look thick and showed me some tricks of the trade to create that effect. I left feeling and looking beautiful. He really took his time to get the cut just right...very pleased!!!

I was pleased to have the opportunity to book an appointment for color with Paul Michael at his salon.This decision was prompted by my growing boredom - the usual routine found in hair salon scenes in around the DC area - the ongoing clone color/cuts.After a brief analysis and conversation,Paul envisioned just what was necessary to alter my dull hair and old style.The end result was a more dimensional color,an fabulous new cut to magically take my baby fine hair to cutting-edge level! A friendly staff,and appears that everyone is attentive to customers, making it an unpretentious place to be. Hours flexible for [us] busy people .My recent experience at Paul Michaels will ensure both my return and referrals! Saturdays are busiest, so book an appointment, early!

Paul is awesome!! He is so nice and very talented. You don't find that combination in most stylists with his talent. Paul did an amazing job fixing the color mess I had done at another salon. He gave me a great color and highlights, the cut was just as wonderful. Paul has my vote.

Wonderful! The experience I have had at this salon is like none other. Amazing, honest service with perfect results every time. Paul Michael takes what you want, and then honestly tells you what is going to work best for you. He takes your ideas and perfects them for your face, coloring, style, and maintenance needs. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Paul Michael's Hair Salon since the day he opened and I will not go anywhere else, I don't trust anyone else but Paul for all my hair care needs.

well he came here to california on a vacation about 2 years ago and he cut my hair and i thought wow why do you live so far away to bad he did a great job for me and my sister in law and my kids and husband. so there you have it.

I just saw this salon on your web site. I made an appointment and went in to get my hair highlighted. Paul did a trim and highlights and he made it look so natural. He is such a nice person to talk to as well. I will definately go back. Thanks for the recomendation.
