Opened in 1930 by the Olivier family, Pat's King of Steaks is home to the original cheese steak in Philadelphia. A Pat's cheese steak is a combination of all the freshest ingredients that can be found. It's quite simple. It's rib-eye steak sliced thin, onions, cheese, and of course, the freshest Italian bread you can find. Put them altogether and you've got a Pat's Philly Cheese steak.

They were so nice to let me film a video for school there. I got to go inside, learn how to make a cheesesteak and get behind the scenes footage. To top it off, they gave me and my cameraman a free cheesesteak!

im only 15 and when me and my dad go to phillies games or concerts we always stop at pats BEFORE and AFTER. nothing is better. on time we did a taste test (one cheesesteak from pats the one from genos) and pats won hands down this shouldnt even be a competition. and tony lukes isnt that great either.

I think that they are best. There is hardly any fat on them and they taste the best that I have ever tasted. A friend of mine took me there and ever since I won't eat a cheese steak unless it is from there.

Pat's steaks has been a tradition in my family for years. My uncle and I would stop by for a cheesesteak after working in the Phila. area. It was such a great ending to a long day of work. Our tummys were full as we drove back to Jersey! The best EVER!!!!

They use good quality meat, fresh good tasting rolls and cook with canola oil. There area is kept clean and you can speak other than English.
