Parks True Value Hardware on Newbury is one of the few stores on Newbury Street where men can go to hide in safety while women shop. The brick building looks small from the outside, but surprisingly the store is able to carry a large inventory of paints, tools, and other home improvement accessories.

I love this store! They spend the same amount of time with you whether you are buying a 29 cent nail to hand a mirror or 50 dollars' worth of paint. Their advice always works!
A real neighborhood store. They always greet you when you come in and provide advice when needed. Entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have almost anything you can imagine without having to go to one of those big impersonal superstores!
They've got a great location with a very wide range of merchandise. A knowledgeable, courteous staff should also be noted.
