What is the difference between Paradise Beach Tanning salon and others? Salons have the choice of what bulb to equip there tanning equipment. We choose a more expensive bulb that is higher in UVA (bronzing) and less in UVB (burning ray). A high burning bulb or UVB, is a cheaper bulb for salons to purchase. While bronzing bulbs are more expensive for a salon to purchase. Paradise Beach chooses a more expensive bulb that gives the user a deeper golden tan that simply lasts longer and that is more gentle on the skin being lower in UVB. High UVB lamps are more abrasive on the skin and breaks down the dermis (upper level of the skin) allowing a longer healing time of the skin and faster exfoliation. UVA (bronzing ray) penetrates deeper into the skin where more of the melanicite cells produce a golden tan. This is why a tan from Paradise Beach will last longer no matter what level you choose. Goes back to the saying "You get what you pay for". Quality does cost a little more, but well worth it!
