Pagliacci's Italian Restaurant

Pagliacci's has been in the same family and the same location for over 62 years. It is the only Italian restaurant in Old North Denver's "Little Italy" to hold this honor. Pagliacci's was started by our Great Aunt Thelma and her husband Frank Grandinetti in 1946. All of the recipes are family recipes with our paramount recipe being our Minestrone soup. The soup is our house specialty including twelve vegetables, barley, beans, rice, and beef ~ all slowly simmered in a hearty broth with a complex blend of secret Italian spices. The menu is traditional Italian-American and the wine list is completely Italian. We also have a full bar including cappucino and espresso drinks with rare and common Italian spirits.

How could anyone put Maggiano's ahead of this authentic Italian restaurant? The Minestrone is enough to put it ahead. Don't get me wrong, Maggiano's is good, but for a real taste of Italian, there's no other than Pagliacci's.
Great soup for starters...and it just keeps on gettting better. You'll taste why this great Denver restaurant has been around more than 50 years. It's family owned...not a chain. One of a kind.
Pagliacci's has the best Minestrone soup ever. All their food tastes freshly made with quality ingredients.
Delicious meals, great service, just a little cramped in the dining area... You can't go wrong with their food!
I do allot of traveling all over the country and if you can find a better Italian restaurant west of the Mississippi I haven't found it. This place is straight out of some old movie and the food is right out of Mommas kitchen simple pure and delectable. A fantastic value for the amount of food you receive and decent service. I do recommend Pagliacci's to every one I know I just love this place.
I have been going to Pagliacci's my whole life, and have shared many wonderful times with my family there. The food is one of a kind traditional Italian made from family recipes passed down from generation to generation. The ambience is beautiful and inviting, creating a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere, sure to make any night special. Pagliacci's is a wonderfully unique gem of a restauraunt!
Wow! What a great place, I've been going here for as long as I can remember. The food is amazing, the service is great with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant means so much to me, I've spent some great memories with my family here that I will never forget. Pagliacci's is a must try, I promise you'll love it. Oh! and you have to try the garlic bread.
In these days of corporate restaurants, it is so refreshing to be able to eat at a unique restaurant like Pagliacci's. The family history lends so much character to the dining experience and the food is fantastic! I especially like the paparadelle and the cappucinos are excellent.
This is the place to go if you want great Italian-American food. The marinara sauce is always fresh and the Minestrone is to die for!! I love it all, the food, the wines, and even the servers...there's a lot of history with this resaturant.
I have been going to Pagliacci's for years! It's my dad's favorite restaurant and we always go there for a big family gathering, when people are in town, or just because we need some good minestrone! I like the small family feel of the place, the food is delicious, it's very conducive to sharing, which is great for me because I love all the food and hate choosing one thing!
We have been visiting this marvelous family owned restaurant for the last 35 years. We remember taking our children there when they were small. Pagliacci is the best Italian restaurant in town - it always has been. When we want to eat Italian, we eat at Pagliacci. We also enjoy the leftovers we take home. Tonight, we are having pasta and eggplant parmesan from Pagliacci. Yum!!!
The site of our first date - And married ever since. I love the story of this restaurant. Over 50 years of family owned tradition. I heard they remodeled.. but I'm sure they went nowhere near the kitchen. Great hole in the wall. Love the food. Service and soup... Go for the soup alone.
It was my first visit to the restaurant and I'm hooked! The atmosphere was breathtaking as you walked in. The staff was incredibly attentive, polite, made you feel like you were Kings and Queens. The food is the best that I've ever had as far as Italian goes. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return. I can't remember the name of our server, but he was incredible. Awesome pretty much sums it up and the prices are great for what you get. Go for it!!

The atmosphere is amazing...it feels like an old town Italian place, the food is to die for, from soup to salad to the giant main courses. And the tiramisu is also amazing.
Pagliacci's is the best because everything just tastes so good. The way their dining area glows with the candle lighting...its beautiful.
Pagliacci's has the best Italian food in Denver. This is a family owned business, which I prefer over the chains. The restaurant is decorated beautifully inside and out, very clean. There is parking available, do not have to deal with the parking drama of downtown.
They have been a great neighborhood restaurant for decades, I enjoy the food and atmosphere.
The service is the best the waiters are so cute the atmosphere is very nice . Pagliacci"s is the only Italian restaurant I will ever eat at the food is very tasteful their minestrone soup and the bread they serve with it are the best anywhere. My family and I have dinner at Pagliacci"s on special days such as birthdays, anniversarys etc. We were there very recently on 8/1/07 my daughters and I had a mother daughter dinner to celebrate her wedding on 8/4/07
