In October 1993, Thomas Boyle opened Padre Murphy's which he apptly named after Father Daniel Murphy, Tom's former parish priest from Binghamton, NY. It took almost a year to build Padre Murphy's from the ground up. The wood floors, wall coverings and the bar itself were renovated from other valley restaurants.
