This gem of a hair salon, Washington, D.C.’s only Japanese Hairsalon, is for everyone that appreciates attention to detail and superb customer service. Ozuki salon offers a choice of discussing your haircut, color, or treatment in Japanese or English. Most of the staff is bilingual; some specialize in Asian hair. Ozuki salon offers conservative, precise haircuts, as well as contemporary innovative cuts, two style directions that are as prevalent in Tokyo as they are in Washington,D.C. The salon combines the best of both Japanese and American salons into one harmonious space.

I would never go back to Ozuki. The hair stylist took off so much hair and I lost my hair volume. The hair stylist o cut my hair too short. I asked for a traditional bob hair and what I got is totally different. Right side hair is shorter than the left side. I feel like crying and now waiting for three-four months for my hair go grow back. I thought that “volume is part of charm of bob hair style” and I am totally confused now about the concept of the Ozuki hair style. I speak Japanese and asked specifically expressed that I wanted to keep the same hair length, but .the hair stylist ignored my request and kept cutting.

Ozuki Salon has the greatest staff--always nice, helpful, professional and accommodating. They always call and remind me about appointments. The owners are great and Sheghemi is the best!
They give great and affordable haircuts while still looking fashionable at the same time. Keep up the good work.

Iku is a gifted hair designer, skilled with color and cut. The atmosphere is lovely and serene, and the shampoo girls give a great scalp and head massage. Add a nice cup of green tea, and what's not to love? :)
The staff is professional and they know their business. They are also very friendly and make you comfortable while you are there.
