In a city built on German Heritage, Milwaukee's Old German Beer Hall represents the spirit of the Hofbräuhaus München, originally commissioned by Duke Wilhelm V in 1589. Milwaukee's Old German Beer Hall with 100 seats, offers a glimpse of Bavarian culture and social life with its classic setting featuring replica tables and benches from the "Schwemme" at the original Munich beer hall.

OGBH is awesome!!! So unlike any other watering hole. Great food...AWESOME beer...great personalities...and friendly patrons.
You won't find any arrogant people here. Just smiles, great beer and great conversation.
Oh, their fish fry is awesome too!!!!!
There isn't another tavern like it. It is a great compliment to the city of Milwaukee for folks from around the area and a definite stop for people visiting. You don't need to be German to appreciate a unique place like this that has a welcoming staff and excellent beer.
Best pretzels in the world. If Sigmund would sing "The Kid" for me I don't think I would ever leave the place.
I especially like the double-secret brew that the Beer Hall Serves up - Wooglin's Ale. It's grreeeaaaat. Nothing beats a steamy hot sausage wrapped in a bun and a big mug of Wooglin's Ale!
Beer by the liter, shot skis, glass boots, the nail game, spaetzle, and the soccer guys... it's what a bar is supposed to be!!
They have celebrities come in all the time. I just met Miss Milwaukee there last week! And I have heard David Hasselhoff has stopped in before.
It's like a trip to Germany without using your frequent flier miles...So authentic!
