The North Palm Beach Country Club Golf Course, consisting of an 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus "Signature" Course, and renovated in 2006 sits on the Seminole Ridge, a feature unique to South Florida and causing undulations in the topography of the course. Water comes into play on the course at 8 holes through the four ponds contained on the course and through another two holes -- numbers 5 and 6 -- which are bordered by the Intracoastal. The most scenic holes are number 11 where the entire back 9 come into view and number 6, which as mentioned, is bordered by the Intracoastal. The most challenging hole is reputed to be number 11!
