Neighbourhood Boutique opened its doors in spring of 2006. Driven by over 20 years of combined retail and design experience, partners Christine McLaughlin and Christopher Coggan set out to redefine boutique shopping in San Diego by focusing on fashion-forward indie designers that, in many cases, were unknown to the San Diego market.

While visiting San Diego (I live in Albuquerque), I was told about the boutique by a hipster at a local club. She was dead-on in her recommendation. Quality merchandise. Excellent selection. Knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices. What more can a girl ask for?

I was studying at cream and just sort of walked in. The girl working there told me straight up that this hat I tried on didn't fit my face. I was a bit upset, but she worked with me and I left looking golden!
