Fantastic in all bakery lines, wonderful hard rolls, and great sandwiches! National Bakery made our wedding cake 26+ years ago - it was fabulous, that butter cream frosting and filling just melt in your mouth. Last week we needed a decorated cake for a surprise birthday in 2 hours. A call to National and it was ready in less than 1 hour. The cake was beautiful and delicious.

Located across the street from St. Francis Hospital. One block south of Oklahoma on 16th street and at 13820 W. Greenfield. If you call ahead they will take SPECIAL orders. This is a full line bakery with cookies, cakes, breads, bars, delicious pies, ham and hard rolls. Special order decorated cakes are great.

I have been buying food items at National for at leat the last twenty yeara, maybe longer. We have taken National Bakery and food items to parties in other cities and states and when we visit those people again, they always remind us to stop at National before we come. We have 7 children and 23 grandchildren who allways request items from National. They always want baked ham and dutchy crust rolls and each of them have a favorite piece of bakery to request. Don't go out of business because if you do enteraining will become a big problem for us. Keep up the good baking, we'll be stopping by often. Lois and Russ Schmidt

One of the sweetest places in Wisconsin! Bring some dough when you go there to clean up on some of their awesome stolen, cakes topped with buttercream, huge variety of breads.......and don't forget to grab a delicious ham sandwich on the way out the door. (I've tried to get them to add a walleye sandwich to their menu, but it hasn't showed up yet :) Seriously, this place is the best, and that's why they've been around for a few centuries or so!

Best tasting frostings and fillings especially on cakes, try them they are all made from scratch, you'll keep going back for the great taste thats on just about everything including donuts and cupcakes! Don't forget their Christmas cookies, the pecan fingers are the best! If they dont have something you want just ask the owners and they just might do it for you, anything to make their customers happy, that is their saying.

My family has been going here for years, and not only for their amazing bakery! Their ham is absolutely delicious, plus you get 6 free rolls when you buy a pound of it! Nothing tastes better than a sandwich made with one of those rolls, some of that ham, and a few slices of a home-grown tomato from our garden -- it's the best of summer!

Each time I buy something from National, it just tastes better and better!!! It isn't just one thing, it's everything in the store!! The creamy frostings and the beautiful artwork on the cakes plus the deli sandwiches and, also important, the atmosphere within. The sales people are just wonderful!! Judy Daub

Everything there is good, but two times a year, at Easter and at Christmas they make a Stollen, that is absolutely the best in the city.

My grandma use to work at National Bakery
in 50's. After church on Sunday; we would
stop at National Bakery to pick up rolls,
ham, and bakery. Now there is a bakery
further west of Milwaukee and I stop in
their periodically and bring my Mom and
Dad some of their bakery.
One request is to bring back the cheesecake square.
Very very good.
