Amazing! Awe-inspiring! Educational! The museum has become a yearly visit for our summer youth program for students K-8 grade, and the children talk about the trip weeks and months later. I'm looking forward to my church group arranging a tour later this year.

I, along with my children, went on a guided tour and I absolutely enjoyed it. Being an African American and growing up in a predominately white enviornment, We found the tour and the guides to be very informative and very interesting. I have recommended that all my friends, along with their children, take the tour as well. Thanks for the experience.
My husband and I absolutely LOVE the Museum of African American History. We have made numerous trips to visit various exhibits and will continue to do so in the future. It is a remarkable facility. Thank you Detroit!!!!!

I just love the African American History Museum! I have a membership and I always encourage others to sign up for a membership and to visit. It is one of the best things that has ever happened for the city of Detroit. It is very educational and entertaining with all the interesting exhibits. I especially loved the "Race" exhibit and cannot wait until it returns. All of the exhibits are fun and educational . Keep up the good work my African brothers and sisters at the AAHM.
It's a place that everyone should visit. It has a lot of history concerning the black culture and the building is beautifully designed. It's a jewel to Detroit.
The Museum is such a positvie landmark in the City of Detroit. I have attended a variety of events held at the museum and all I have enjoyed - this is a first class museum and all of the Art Collection and Exhibits I have attended are just awesome. We as Detroiters should always invest in our heritage. Wonderful place for family and friends. Therefore, If you do not have a membership it is a MUST that you do for you and your family to share in your culture. Ms. LC
