Mac Christensen started to work for a large department store in Salt Lake City, Utah. He soon realized that there was a problem with buying clothing at a department store: if you wanted a suit, you had to go to one department, a pair of shoes in another department, luggage another and so on. Mac felt for the best customer service a person should not have to be shuffled from one department to another. Mac also felt quality should be the first consideration and price second. Over the last forty years, Mr. Mac has grown to include eight locations and has built a reputation as one of the most recognized and trusted sources for fine men's suits and clothing in the mountain west.
