We will be celebrating our 16th year serving you in 2007. Who would have believed back in 1991 when the first Mornings Kolaches was opened in Clear Lake that today there would be 7 locations. The first Mornings Kolaches was opened in Clear Lake at the Star Plaza shopping center in a tiny 900 square foot space. There was only one oven, one proof box and one cash register. The Salazar brothers knew that their kolaches were the most delicious around and wanted the world to taste them. The Clear Lake location took about 5 months to open because the Salazar brothers did all the build out themselves with the help of a few key friends like David Pearsall who did the electric and American Plumbing who did the plumbing; of course. The first day Mornings Kolaches opened people started flocking to the little shop as if it had been there for years.
