Best homemade ice cream in the city. Has been for a long time, and will likely remain a local favorite for many years to come. Macapuno, mexican chocolate, and my favorite chocolate chip. Get some!

Really good stuff! Always enjoy my trips to Mitchell's. Great product and great service too. Especially like the sorbets!

This place has "too much calories". Definitely not health conscious. If you want to add some pound on you, this isn't that bad. If you are watching what you eat and want to feel good about yourself, go to "SOGREEN YOGURT" inside the Crocker Galleria in SF.

I recently had some Mitchells Icre Cream; Prior to then I had never had it.
It was touted as being the "San Francisco favorite" and the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, I was not impressed! As a matter of fact, I would say I was underwhelmed! Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it "ain't all that"! Blue Bell ice cream from Texas is mucho better!!!

A great place to go on a sunny day or warm evening. Expect a bit of a wait, but it is worth it. If you haven't been before - just grab a number as soon as you walk in the door. My favorite is their mint chip, but they have more interesting flavors too. This is a classic San Francisco business that is still thriving - so hooray for that!
