Enter the wooden sawdust strewn floors and history patched walls for a trip back through time. Share the experience with the spirits of Milwaukee's famous beer barons, their barley pops and the sausages that make Milwaukee known worldwide. The Milwaukee Brat House, Milwaukee's historical social pub is a gathering place, a watering hole, a canvas of local hero's, antiques, art, history and literature. The mood is humble, positive, a charged battery for the thinking and working man. The large brat grill, aged artwork, newspaper articles covering the walls, the sawdust floors, and the medicine jacket dressed waiters and bartenders help give our Brat House an atmosphere that many will consider, correctly or not, reminiscent of "Olde Milwaukee." The Brat House serves only a few local ales, served "two at a time" priced at $4.00 for both. The sturdy 8oz beer mugs are carried 8 in each hand, soundly placed on the long wooden bar or round wooden tables throughout the pub. The wine racks are dressed with affordable, wine spectator reviewed bottles, most priced at $15.00 and served in short Italian style cylinder or favored stemless hand sized bowl shaped glasses. Their menu of Milwaukee's famous sausages cooked openly on a glorified large grill or the fine option of fresh sandwiches, bistro burgers, cheese and onion plates or sides of baked beans, thin sliced cucumber salads, potato salads, American fries or chips do create the scene for fast service, delicious food choices and comfortable socializing. The Brat window, allows walk up customers to quickly purchase at work desk lunches, or the bar time food crowd to safely purchase an affordable Milwaukee favorite: BRATS! At the Milwaukee Brat House, everyday is a fresh start, life is wonderful, things are looking up, "we love America" and Milwaukee is the greatest city on the greatest lake in the greatest country, and if you are inclined to burst into patriotic or college fight song, They'll sing along. Be forewarned, their motto is: "Be Good, or Be Gone"
