Mavis Winkle's Irish Pub is more elegant than most! One step through the front door, will amaze most everyone. The décor is well appointed with beautiful wood, glass and brass. Photography on most walls are from Scott MacGregor (www.irishphotos.com), a local Irishman who loves to capture the beauty of Ireland for all of us to embrace. This casual, cozy atmosphere oozes comfort and charm. A gorgeous two-sided fireplace with hand crafted mantles (also made by a local artist, Patrick Foley...Irish Workshop) boast two special Irish toasts! Don’t forget to find out what they say when you visit!

Not authentic, poor ambiance, crappy food. Decent beer selection but the Guinness wasn't even served in a pint glass.
If you want to go to an unauthentic "Irish" restaurant located in a strip-mall adjacent to a highway and thousands of sub-divisions with soccer mom's then you'll like it here.

Good Luck to Mary Jo and Bill D. They run the best Irish Pub, Great food, great people, great bar. They lost a good bartender, but didn't stop them from continuing to be greta entrepreneurs. Best of Luck to another GREAT year!!! Keep up the good work.

I LOVE Mavis Winkle's. There's great food, a great atmosphere and all the girls and waitresses love me there. I melt the butter for the chefs.

I am a huge fan of Mavis Winkles.. Looking for a good ClamBake.. That's the place :) They have great food and a good selection of beers. (That is what your looking for in a pub, right?)

Always a happy,helpful and friendly place. I an 63 years old, a Vietnam Veteran, married and I know FOOD! I can't wait to attend their Clam Bake. Take it from an old timer............I go to Independence because it's close to home. But I'd drive any distance to visit this establishment.

Mavis is wonderful! My husband and I love the fresh homemade soups and traditional Irish dishes. The beer selections are great! We love the atmosphere is cozy and warm! It's our favorite Irish Pub!

I go to Mavis Winkles at least once a week and everytime i go in, i have great food for a great price with great service. Lauren is my favorite waitress.

It is the best bloody pub this side of the Atlantic. If an English bloke like me loves it you know it has to be a damn good Irish pub! Good food, good drinks and a nice crew of lovely lassies to take care of you. The friendliest place in town! Try it, you'll love it! Tuesday is burger day and the mushroom bisque soup is the best!

The two Mavis Winkle Pubs have proven to be wonderful places to take clients or family. I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the food, decor, knowledge & helpfulness of the staff. Certainly, the 'comfort food' holds a special place for my husband & me but the Portabello soup on Tuesday's is a highlight. The relaxed atmosphere is a must when we go out either professionally or privately - we are never disappointed at Mavis'. Mary Jo & Bill have done a great job addressing the needs of their customers!

I can go to Mavis Winkles any night of the week due to the variety on the menu. Everything I have ever eaten there has been delicious! The reuben bites fill all my cravings!!!

We love the atmosphere & have a special booth in the bar we try to sit at. The owners are locals who provide jobs for many in the area & all the employees treat their customers like an Irish family

I am the son of an irish immigrant and i struggle to find authentic irish cusine, especially in north eastern ohio, however i managed to stumble upon this quaint little pub in Twinsburg. I have been back numerous times since my first visit about a year ago, and i get the same thing every time- Corned Beef and Cabbage, and a pint of Smithwicks, I highly reccomend this pub to anyone who is a fan of great food.

Just love the place. The new HUGE screen TV is great for OSU games! The beer is great and we love the freebies we get for being 'Frequent Diners'.

What a place! I love the food and everyone there knows our names, knows what my kids eat (and gets their food to them fast so my husband and I actually enjoy our meal).
We've hosted a baby shower there, and picked up catering for a party at our home. Never had a bad bite!
P.S., it was one of the 1st places in town with Alexander Keith Lager, and the Guinness is perfect every time.

I just found out last time I was there that 95% of their food is made from scratch...No wonder it is soooooo good and so much healthier than other restaurants!!! If you havnt been there yet you should definitly try it

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant!! It has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious! The entire staff is always more worried about what you want, then what is easier to do for themselves. .. . . . I am one of those people that make a thousand substitution, and they have never once seemed upset about it! Trust Me, Go to Mavis Winkle's and you won't be disappointed!!!!!
