Located in a former 1920s gas station in Dearborn, this tiny, real Jewish deli adds to its throwback aura with a huge reproduction of Edward Hopper's Nighthawks as main decor. The great corned beef and crusty rye bread make it a favorite sandwich. Other items served include soups and brownies.

Oh yeah, Mati's RULES Dearborn in the deli category. Try the reuben on rye! (and request the crispy.. maybe called new?.. pickle) Love the tuna salad although I wish the onions were cut up smaller. Soups & desserts are great. CLEAN deli and I love the atmosphere.. proud to have this lil' gem in our neighborhood.

I love the fact that Mati's owner took into consideration the architecture of building. I love the COOL counter at the window. II love the look of Mati's! I love the fact that you can sit outside! There are not that many establishments where you can sit outside during this nice weather. You actually feel as if you're somewhere else not in your neighborhood. It's a fun place to get away with your husband or your girlfiriend.
I know my girlfriend Dorothy is looking down from heaven on your cute deli. She is probably so happy that you are still there. I thank her for introducing your little place to me.
The sandwiches are so scrumptious! They are so unique and different. You get a juicy pickle with your sandwich.
Thanks for keeping your cute little deli in our great city of Dearborn. You add your wonderful ambiance to our city

I am a regular and have been for better than 20 years. That right there says a lot. They make delicious and generous sandwiches and the best Julienne salad I've ever had. They make ordering easy. You can order over the phone or the internet. They even have delivery. go to: www.matisdeli.com

They have the best sandwiches. A little pricy but it is well worth it. I go an hour out of my way just to get the best sandwich in town.

I've lived a few blocks from Mati's Deli for 20 years now and although the owners changed a while back, they've always kept the same wonderful sandwiches, soups and chili!! The cream cheese brownies are awesome and cut to a generous portion. We love having a great sandwich shop in the neighborhood and enjoy being able to sit outside in good weather and take a break from the "indoor" life we often endure in Michigan. Thanks for sticking with us Mati's-even through a tough economy-keep up the good work!!

What a great selection to choose from the lunch menu! Priced right, the servings are generous and the service is fast. Ample space to dine in or lunch outside, Mati's is a cozy spot to grab a quick meal. And they have carry-out, too!
