Lorene's Loving Oven is a full-service bakery specializing in traditional and custom baked goods for families and businesses throughout Palm Beach County. The next time you are craving sweets or treats, come visit us before settling for prepackaged baked goods from a grocery store. The first thing you notice at Lorene's Loving Oven bakery isn't the display case, the unique 'wedding cake clock' or even the shiny, clean floors; it's the smell. The heavenly smell of freshly baked cakes, cookies and pies swirls around the small store-front tempting customers as they wait for Lorene Hughey, owner, and her mother, head baker Altamese Kerr, to fill their orders. In addition, Lorene's Loving Oven features pineapple upside down cake, egg custard pie, a fruit truffle, Red Velvet cake and cobblers: peach, peach/apple and blueberry and mango in season. The only items you won't find at Lorene's are bread, Danish and donuts. Those items are all being made, and being made well, elsewhere, Ms. Hughey says. And here's some-thing else you won't find at Lorene's: Strangers working in her kitchen.

I know they are the best because they have made cakes for every family function that my family has, and every single time there were no left over pieces of cake. It's so good that now when the family hears that the cake was made by Loren's Loving Oven they get a piece to wrap up before they even make a plate of food. I love Loren's Loving Oven.
I ordered a wedding cake from them and it was beautiful and Ms Lorene and Mrs Altamese were very nice and also the wedding cake comes in any flavor you want. I had the Red Velvet one tier and the Butter Pecan another tier. My guests were so pleased with the quality of the cake and not the quantity.
There business is very clean and the desserts are homemade and not out of a box the same day I ordered them, Peach cobbler, Pina Colada cake, and the Red Velvet Cake.
