Lawrence Street Gallery, located in downtown Ferndale, is an association of 30 local artists. Since the gallery was founded in 1987 it upholds a tradition of featuring exhibits that change monthly to display a variety of fine art including paintings, drawings, printmaking, jewelry, ceramics, photography; and sculpture. Recognizing and showcasing the vast field of talent in the local area is a key goal of the gallery. The gallery hosts 1 and 2-person shows, group shows, and juried competitions such as photography, figurative art, ceramics, and small art. This lively and creative group of artists invites you to visit their gallery, which is located on the east side of Woodward Avenue in the second block south of Nine Mile Road. Municipal parking lot in back.

Highly Creative Michigan Artists who provide a variety of new pieces monthly. Art is affordable because the gallery is a co-op...where juried members share expenses.
I felt strange going in there because it was my first time going to an art gallery like that, but I didn't feel out of place at all. They let me browse at my own pace and made me feel right at home.
