Laikon cafe is a classic Mom and Pops restaurant in Greektown. Well known for its plethora of Greek favorites, such as octopus, saganaki, and lamb, Laikon is the favorite Greek establishment of many downtown Detroiters.

Old school reek food. just like mom used to make. We have been comming here since I was born, and being Greek I think that says a lot. As solid today as it was 30 years ago. Not fancy but you will not be disapointed.

...Could it be the fresh lamb and Greek bread that they receive daily? Or maybe just the superb culinary skills of Chef Kostas cooking. I have been dining here for the past 20 years and I would not change anything. As far as I am concerned, this is the only restaurant to go to in Greektown!!!
