I've been going to Coney Island since I was a kid - that's 4 decades now & it's still the best! I've lived all over the country & I always spoke of them with great longing. Good to be back in the Detroit area just to grab one with the works - YUM!!

What a treat it was going Downtown with my Dad and we always had to stop at Lafayettes. In my opinion there is no other coney island.

I have never been to American Coney Island and I never will!!! Lafayette is the best in Detroit!! Demo...Mike... young Ali......you guys are #1....love the fork trick!!!!

Best in area - "one up second line". Always worth the drive, then on to the riverfront to warch the activity. A "must" when guests are in town.
