If you feel compelled to check out Lady Hamilton, steer clear of the owner, Nancy. She is extremely patronizing and rude, and should not deserve the privilege of your business.

I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses here. They ordered the wrong color for one of my bridesmaids' dresses, and then proceeded to blame me for the mistake. They obviously overlooked the fact that the other bridesmaids' dresses were just fine. To make things worse, they are now charging me extra to ship the new dress. When we said we should not be penalized for their administrative mistakes, this was Nancy's response: "We are doing you a favor by not charging you for a whole new dress."

HORRIBLE experience! They deny responsibility for everything and have you foot the bill. They also tack on tons of hidden alteration fees and try to make a buck off of you every which way they can. They butter you up when they're trying to make a sale, and then it's all downhill after you've spent your money. Steer clear-- they obviously could care less about their clientèle or the word of mouth surrounding their service. Most of my wedding stress was from dealing with this store!

For my destination wedding I found the most beautiful bridesmaid gown from Jim Hjelm and my maid of honor decided to order it from Lady Hamilton because they were in very close proximity to her. Unfortunately when the woman wrote down the order she wrote down the wedding date as the ship date instead of the date that my maid of honor told her she'd be leaving town. A few weeks before the wedding I called to check on the progress. Colleen answered the phone and assured me that the gown would be in 2 days before my maid of honor had to leave town and that it would guarantee ample time to have alterations. A week before the dress was supposed to arrive my maid of honor called and again Colleen assured her that the gown would be there. On Wednesday, when the gown was scheduled to arrive my maid of honor never got a call from Lady Hamilton so she called them the following day. Apparently THEN they realized the mistake with the order. However, they put the dress on the "hot list" and assured us that the dress would be in no later than 2 days before the wedding and that they would ship it down to Florida in time to have alterations done. By this time, we are all in Florida, waiting for the gown to arrive. Basically, the gown never arrived. Lady Hamilton mistakes made me have to drive around Naples Florida like a crazy lady looking for a maid of honor gown that I'd have to buy OFF THE RACK. Fortunately, we were able to find another gown that looked amazing on my maid of honor. But I would never recommend Lady Hamilton to anyone. Their customer service is a joke, filled with lies and terrible service. The manager even called me and told me that I'd still have to pay for the entire gown! Ha,then my husband to be got on the phone and handled the situation and even then the manager hung up on him! It's just one awful experience after another. This place is a JOKE! DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
unbelievable experience. Ordered $1700 silk wedding dress in July 2006, was to be delivered in Dec so my daughter could have fitting during Xmas break. Dress arrived 2/17 ( 30 weeks!!!)and there are multiple patched holes in the skirt (remember silk) and pin holes in the silk bodice. Nancy-the owner, refuses to refund, wants to get a replacement dress.

1) first dress took 30 weeks (industry average is 12-14 weeks) to get. Wonder when dress was actually ordered!
2) no confidence in manufacturer's quality if they sent dress with holes, if manufacturer actually sent the dress out this way, (the manufacturer has a much better reputation than the retailer seems to have)
3) Nancy checked dress in on Friday 2/17 afternoon and had my salesperson call me for credit card payment that day and salesgirl noticed holes when she was packing for shipment. Nancy then admitted she knew there were holes! The audacity of this woman.

DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS CROOK!
