Welcome to Kimono where you'll find the subtle nuances of Japanese cuisine in Birmingham's most luxurious Japanese restaurant. Enjoy finely presented teriyaki, tempura, sukiyaki and more in a room where you can relax or at one of our tables in the dinning room while your meal is being prepared. Our staff are here to serve you and to insure your visit is an enjoyable one. At present there are 7 Japanese restaurants in the city of Birmingham. However none of them serves the traditional Japanese cuisine. That's precisely why I'm determined to serve the high class Japanese cuisine restaurant named "Kimono." I've studied Japanese cuisine specialized in Sushi for the period of 8 years. With my experience and observation, customers can be categorized in two different groups. Some would prefer the franchise-restaurant such as Shogun and Kobe, in which all of the family members could experience a show performed by Hibachi chef as opposed to others would prefer the restaurant where they can fully enjoy their meals with a hint of martini at maximum with a cozy quiet environment. "Kimono" is targeting for later customers with their quests for comfortableness and high quality of foods. "Kimono" is the new place where customers could experience the authentic Japanese cuisine, which is also recognized as healthy diet worldwide. The restaurant offers both traditional and modern Japanese cuisines. The chefs also prepare unique list of special dishes which are derived from the freshest produce, meat and seafood they can get from the markets. They pride themselves for having the creativity in delivering unique and exciting Japanese cuisines.
