This pub was built to honor the pub owner's father, Henry Grady Leake of Scots Irish Ancestry. His photo & family history are hanging in the front entrance where he is pictured in his Marine Dress Uniform. This pub was invented to celebrate life as described on our motto nailed to the front door: “ Live Well, Laugh a lot, & Love often ” . The owner ' s father was Baptist and his mom was a Catholic. Because of where they were from and their differences they eloped to get married. Our family history has roots in the Marietta area and our name has been associated with a hotel and an Antebellum home still standing on Church Street. After the death of his father he just wanted to have some fun and that is the reason for this pub.

The place is low key and the crowd always gets together and strangers can become friends!! Also, Dave and Drew are definitely a show that everyone should see and they will surely return!!

I love this place!!! Keroke Thursdays...they give stuff cool away....and tonight is ELVIS night!!! Everybody that works at MacCracken's is AWESOME and....TRISH RULES!! It's the kind of place you can relax or have a crazy night.

I think MacCrakens is a great Pub! I go there all the time with my friends and we have a great time!! I just wish everyone knew about this place!!
Size doesn't matter...... when it comes to Irish pubs. This little space makes for a cozy atmosphere not found in the others. Plus the side rooms in back with their own bar and the good sized patio out back open year round with a fire pit and bar as well. I like the variety of locals this pub draws from surrounding neighborhoods of Marietta.

MacCracken's has the best selection of beers and food around!!! The atmosphere is unlike any place you'll ever go. It's a must do if you haven't been.
