I'm new to Albuquerque and I'm a fanatic gardener and a former and retired nursery owner. I was disappointed in this nursery, while I found several others in the City Metro area that were far superior in available inventory and with better trained staff.

Jericho is an ok small retail garden center, just a little crowded and cluttered, and with limited tree choices. On Jericho's web site and again on the Google Map site the owner of Jericho claims "Jericho Nursery is Albuquerque's premier retail garden center". He also claims to have been in the business in the Albuquerque metro area for 20 plus years yet he still makes this silly claim. I’d be embarrassed to make a claim like that! He must not be familiar with Osuna Nursery, Plants of the Southwest or Trees That Please all superior nursery's in every way. Trees That Please has a huge inventory of Desert Hardy and Native Trees that were grown by them, while Jericho Nursery has none to offer. I’m into fixing my soils to have healthy plants and Jericho was of no help in that respect. All they like to sell is toxic chemicals that none of us need damaging our health. Common Jericho, keep up with the trend and the competition and let's be more truthful on the claims about being Albuquerque's Premier Retail Garden Center, particularly if your going to be hanging your hat on God and faith. I’ll bet God is not so keen on the chemicals damaging his creation!

I love Jericho Nursery! I drive in from Farmington for their excellent selection, knowledgeable staff and awesome garden accessories. It is always a fun experience! Take the time to check them out!
