Jeff Coffey was born and raised in the Orlando, Florida area. Jeff has just released his second solo CD entitled “Long Way Home”. This new CD features nine brand new tracks that bridge the gap between Pop, Rock and Country and allows Jeff’s distinctive voice and crafty songwriting to shine through. Jeff will be performing with the full band for the official CD Release Party Show at The Social in downtown Orlando on Friday June 29th. He has always had in interest in music and in high school began by playing bass in various rock bands formed with his classmates. Jeff received music scholarships to Stetson University and the University of Central Florida and traveled to Europe with the UCF Jazz Band. He has been in several bands since college and began pursuing a solo career in 2000. His self titled debut solo CD was independently released and received spins on over 60 Top 40/AC stations across the country, as well as XM Radio. Many of Jeff’s songs have been featured on several major television networks such as NBC, MTV, A&E, Bravo, FOX, E! Network, HGTV, Discovery Channel and the 2005 CBS Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The single "Write About Me", released in March of 2004, is featured in Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's video game Sweet 16 Licensed to Drive and topped the NMW AC40 "Most Added" & "Prime Mover" Charts. Jeff's National TV appearances include NBC's "StarTomorrow", "The Daily Buzz" on the CW Network and performing the National Anthem at several Orlando Magic games and Atlanta Braves spring training games. The undeniable heart-and-soul of this talented artist is evermore present in his music. "Music is the backdrop to our lives and I hope that my music can affect people. I don't want to sound like everybody else, and I certainly don't want every song I play to be more of the same thing. For me, the more curves there are on the road ………....... the more fun it is to drive."
