Javamonkey is an independant coffeehouse/winebar that features coffee, food, music and wine. The coffee is organic fairtrade and served in traditional Italian styles, no mass produced, corporate beverages here. The food menu features breakfast biscuits, hot panini's and appetizer's to compliment the wine list. Javamonkey was recently reviewed in the AJC as one of the best places in Atlanta to attend a wine tasting. Whether your sampling the panini's, sipping the wine, or enjoying a hot latte on a chilly night there is always free entertainment on the wide open patio. Javamonkey supports local and touring musicians, providing a free listening space for all to enjoy. Stop by on a Sunday night and you could participate in the highly acclaimed Javamonkey Speaks open mic poetry hosted by local celebrity, Kodac Harrison. Javamonkey is a perfect way to spend your morning, afteroon or evening. Open 6:30am-12am Monday thru Friday and 7:30am-12am Saturday thru Sunday.

Basically like the sweetest place ever. duh
because not only is it a great coffee shop (with fabulous desserts) it's a great live music venue too!

I love javamonkey! The coffee is fair trade and delicious. The beer and wine selection is fantastic and there's always something to do there at night. I've seen some really cool bands. oh, I almost forgot...there's also free wi-fi!
Best coffee, food, desserts. includes a beer and wine bar. Live music or spoken word every night, good ambiance. Fair trade.
