Jake's serves generous portions of its one-of-a-kind flavors for reasonable prices. The tasty sorbets and soy-based ice creams are great alternatives for those who eat dairy-free. Some customers love their favorites so much they just don't want anything else! Try Devyn's Animal Crackers, Jamocha Almond Chip, 24 Carrot Cake, Sweet Agnes, Banana Split, Tropical Sunshine Sorbet, and Magic Mocha Mousse (soy-based).
Jake's in Decatur shares a building with Little Shop of Stories, a great children's bookstore (with an adult selection too), and is an all around fun place, and the Irwin Street Market Jake's, where all the ice cream is made, also serves sandwiches and shares space with great vendors (including Flower Bar, Sweet Pockets, Dr. Mojo's and Just add Honey).
Homemade ice cream cakes available by order. Jake's does parties too!

This is hands-down the best, most fresh and original flavors of ice cream I've ever had. Their best flavors are Mexican Hot Chocolate, Kenya Coffee, Red Velvet Cake, and many times they have vegan and sugar-free flavors.
The atmosphere in a unique children's bookstore makes for a good time, eating ice cream and browsing book selections.
