As someone who wanders through most of the studios in DC, it says a lot that I have always put Inspired Yoga on the top of my list. The studio is light, airy and never feels crowded no matter how many people are practicing. You will always feel welcomed here.

The teachers, the practice space, and the classes all combine to promote the united goal of a balanced yoga practice... and the general feeling there is fun and inviting!

When you go to the classes, they are so small and personalized that they make you feel like the held them especially for you. The people are so sincere and well trained.

The instructors at this studio truly do "inspire" me to a sublime practice. They are knowledgeable, professional, and marvelous.

Inspired Yoga is owned by a wonderful teacher, Kyra, who created two beautiful spaces to practice. Both studios are lovely, although very different in decor, their atmospheres warm and welcoming. Kyra is an especially giving teacher, who brings joy and pleasure to her classes. By the end of a class, one disappears into sivasana bliss.

In addition to Inspired Yoga's excellent and comprehensive selection of yoga classes, the studio is also home to Pure Barre Technique, a hot, new core workout that incorporates a ballet barre.

The teachers at Inspired Yoga focus on beginners making the feel at one with the rest of the class. They also offered a beginner course for $50 for 6 weeks.

It has a very open and very welcoming environment. You feel like you belong to a community when you come to Inspired Yoga. The instructors are friendly and helpful.
