Imperatori Karate is a wonderful experience for my entire family. Having my children and husband in the black belt program means we will be around for a long time! Thanks to everyone at Imperatori Karate for making us feel like part of the family.

I think that Joey's place is good because you don't just learn regular moves. You learn stuff like forms where you learn how to do lots of combinations all together. The instructors are very nice.

We love Joey and everyone at Imperatori Karate. We thoroughly researched karate schools in Atlanta before we chose them and could not be happier. Our 4-year old son has learned discipline, strength and balance. The atmosphere is fun yet structured. They really do a great job with the “mighty mites” (the little kids). We are here to stay!

This program is about the total child while at Imperatori Karate, at home and at school. The instructors really care about the children and work hard to make them sucessful.

my nephew really enjoy the karate lesson at Imperatori Karate, from the first time he took the lesson, i knew he would love it. The teachers are very friendly and willing to help children who need they help to improve they skill.

Mr.Victor, Mr.Isaah and Ms.Miranda(plus Mr.Joey) are the greatest teacher in the world...they love me and i adore them. They show me how to do lots of cool moves. When i felt like i can't do those moves, they will patiently show me how to do it so i do it perfectly and very proud of myself. Btw Mr.Victor,Mr. Isaah and Ms.Miranda...today i can make a good round kick during my sparring class!!!!....
Ps. They remember my birthday too....and sent me a funny e-card.

The Imperatori Karate staff truly inspire children to be the very best that they can be. The training looks at the total child and teaches him/her to be more focused and well-rounded. Our son started the Black Belt Program at age four and our daughter at age 3. We always encourage others to have their children train at Imperatori because we think it is the best martial arts studio in Atlanta!

Of all the camps my children have attended over the summer, they loved Imperatori's camp the best by far...My daughter had a smile on her face for days wearing her "gold medal"! All of the instructors are enthusiastic, motivational and quick to praise.
Joey also teaches a fantastic kickboxing class on Tuesdays and Fridays...it truly will whip your body into shape, and he switches things up so that no two classes are the same. A+

My son Harrison (9 yrs) has been taking since he was 4 yrs. old. The staff is impressive not only in their karate ability but also in their desire to help the kids and adults become better people through martial arts. The focus and stamina that karate has taught my child is invaluable. To the point that my daughter Abby has been taking since she was 5 years old. The instructors and staff are just the best! I would recommend Imperatori Karate to anyone (and have several of my friends whose children now attend classes there).

Two years ago, our youngest daughter started at Imperatori at age 4. As a young girl who likes to rough-house and has a lot of energy, she was not necessarily looking forward to the discipline involved in Karate. But the instructors at Imperatori have helped her discover the value of this as well as focus - not only in Karate but also at home and in school. The impact of her experience goes way beyond Karate, itself ... and we thank all of the staff at Imperatori for that!

My daughter Morgan has been attending classes at Imperatori for about two years. Because of the instructors at Imperatori she loves Karate. The instructors are great and the summer karate camps are a huge hit with all of the kids.

This karate studio unlike other karate studios takes lots of work. Belts are not earned every week or month. Also, Imperatori Karate not only focuses on martial arts but is equally balanced with fitness.

This school is, simply put, the best school I have ever seen, heard of or tried. I have been going for nearly 9 years and have loved it ever since the first day. The teachers and students are very welcoming to people first coming in and they stay friendly throughout your journey to black belt, however that is not what it is all about. When I'm there I feel like I'm home again, Walking back into the family that I had seen a day or two ago.

It has just been a wonderful experience for my 7 year old son. He loves it and looks forward to every lesson. The instructors are great with all the kids. It is one of the best organizations I experienced that caters to children.

Imperatori is a professionally-run, top-notch organization--from Miss TL at the front-desk to the caring teachers (Mr. Victor, Miss Miranda, Mr. Isiah...) to the involved ownership of Mr. Joey Imperatori! The communication with families is excellent. Imperatori Karate is a wonderful member of that Atlanta community that teaches children important values while emphasizing physical fitness. Our son Christopher recently received his black belt from the Joey Imperatori studio. It was a long haul but well worthwhile. The journey taught our son discipline and perseverance. Our son has grown both physically and emotionally as a result of this experience. His improved self-confidence and focus have carried over into his academics and social skills. We would like to personally thank Joey Imperatori, Victor Torres, TL and the rest of the great staff.

I have been to many different martial arts schools over the years. Imperatori is the best school I know in the metro area. The instructors are extremely capable, family oriented, well-rounded, and look to develop the entire person as the advance along the way. This school really cares about its students and what it means to be a martial arts school in the truest sense. It is not a factory but a true school.

This is absolutely the best family oriented karate studio in Atlanta. I feel comfortable in saying this because my daughter started classes with Joey at age 8 and achieved her black belt at age 16. When she went to college, I started taking karate and now I'm a blue belt with one stripe. That's pretty good for an AARP karate student! During these years at Imperatori, I’ve watched many young kids come through the ranks and it has been a joy to watch as they become such confident and successful young men and women.

My three children are all students at Imperatori Karate. From the time they were three years old I have enjoyed the focus, discipline and coordination Imperatori has added for my children. My children have received positive reinforcement on all levels of their development. Now 11,8,and 6...they are always eager to learn the next kick and the next form. The more advanced belt students and teachers are top notch and a wonderful example for my children to strive for!
