Located at 1624 Montana Ave. in Santa Monica, Il Primo Passo is the premiere Westside destination for luxury shoes, handbags, and accessories from directional labels and designers with unique and compelling points of view. We specialize in finding the next generation of footwear and accessory designers who should be on the radar of any respectable fashionista. In the store’s comfy-chic environment, fashion savvy women can indulge all of their addictions, whether it’s caffeine, wine (we serve complimentary organic espresso in the mornings and wine in the afternoon and evenings), shoes, handbags, or all of the above.

The most fabulous place to shop for shoes in LA! The owner gives you a ton of personal attention and she also hosts high-heel walking classes there, so you can make sure you can really strut your stuff!

I LOVE shoes... so much so that I had to build more shelves in my walk-in closet to accommodate my really fabulous shoes. Il Primo Passo has a very well-edited selection of very special shoes. When that over-whelming feeling of needing to have and having to have ANOTHER pair of stunning shoes, I always start and finish here. So should you.
