    The Druid's veggie burger: heavenly. Clearly hand-made as you can see chunks of real vegetables -- notably heavy on the zucchini, but also some carrots, mushrooms etc. It's really in a class by itself.

    Christopher's of Porter Square makes a very very good veggie burger. They have the standard, which is definitely house made and delicious. They also often have weekly special burgers.

    Miracle of Science for great burgers, Boston
    I'm not sure if Miracle's veggie burger is hand-made, but I do know its delicious. It's cooked on an open flame which gives it a nice smoky flavor. They serve it on a really nice split roll, with jalapeno aioli, arugula and cheese.

    Ahh Audubon -- great spot to go before games at Fenway. Their veggie burger is a house-made black bean and corn burger. It's much "heavier" than most veggie burgers, but very tasty. It tends to fall apart, but that just reminds me that it's actually food, not a pre-made patty.

    I don't think anyone will confused UBurger's veggie burger with a hand-made patty. Really, it's the toppings that make this a delightful burger. I usually get the veggie burger w/ fried jalapenos and cheese on a whole wheat bun. Very tasty.
