Hot dogs and fresh-cut fries. Hot Dog Heaven is voted best hot dogs by Scene magazine year after year! Voted best hot dogs by the Lorain Journal year after year! Many claim to be the best, but Hot Dog Heaven has worked at serving the best hot dog for over 32 years!

Chili Dog with Slaw, fresh cut fries, and a Hot Fudge Milk Shake...........what could be better. Great place to eat and different than all the other fast food. Love it!!!!!

Jack O'Flanagan runs a great ,family atmosphere eating establishment.
The food is always a consistant quality. Jack is a very generous person to soooo many organizations.

OH MY OH MY!!!! Hot Dog Heaven, a.k.a. : HDH If you've never been there, you should not have the right to call yourself an Ohioan!! I am a Kiedrowski and I count the days of times to visit from phoenix, AZ, just to come have a chili dog and cheese fries!!! BEST IN THE W O R L D.

these guys do the area a tremendous service, I have read on previous post all the work Mr. O'Flanagan does for Amherst, but his generosity to the community extends to his Avon business as well, walk in and see all the plaques and pictures from the community thanking him. The food is wonderful as well, I get the Veggie burger with coleslaw and my kids love the mini corn dogs. Thanks Hot Dog Heaven

This place is a Cleveland!!! The sauce and coleslaw hot dogs are straight outta West Virginia, the fries with cheese and bacon, and a hot fudge milkshake....holllaa

After reading the rave reviews I knew I just had to go and give it a try. The opportunity arose on Oct. 23,2008. So I went just before attending the Amherst JV football game. I give it a star because of the service. The food was terrible. I was so dissapointed. I had a hotdog with chili,cheese and onions. This is one customer who will never be seen ordering there again.

great dogs and great service! i take my family there because they love Hotdog heaven's freshcut frenchfries.They also have a variety of choices in toppings and also offer burgers too. i higly rate this sandwich shop

I have been eating here for more than 20 years (and I am only in my mid-30s) and I have never had a complaint. Service is fast, the places (both Amherst and Avon) are clean and the many of the staff are on friendly terms. You can't beat this place for the best hotdogs and cut-fries, esp. for the price!!

I've eaten at HDH since I was at least 3 (I lived down the street ;) ) and I worked there for years and I still absolutely love the food! Amazing food, great atmosphere and people. Can't be near the town without stopping in.

if you guys have never eaten at hot dog heaven then you need to. hot dog heaven in amherst ohio is a community pillar. jack o'flanagan and hotdog heaven is great to the community of amherst. plus its the best hotdogs and fries in the county easy.

Hot Heaven is the best family/kid freindly around!! Their place in Amherst has a family comfortable feeling, all the staff are freindly and down to earth! The food is always fresh and very good!!!!

I am disturbed to see that a relative of owner's of a restaurant also competing would write such a boldfaced lie that the fries at Hot Dog Heaven are not fresh-cut daily! Shame on you! Go to any of the HDHs early in AM and I am sure Jack or John or Jeff would be happy to show you to the kitchen where the fries are freshly cut each and every morning. Or ask the generations of young men who have gotten quite muscular arms from spending hours cutting the fresh fries!!! =D
