HI-Baltimore Hostel is situated in an historic 1857 brownstone mansion in the heart of downtown Baltimore City. We are just 7 blocks north of the Inner Harbor, Convention Center, Orioles and Ravens Stadiums, and surrounded by all the public transportation you would ever need. We are located directly across the street from the Baltimore Basilica, America’s First Cathedral, as well as the Central branch of the Baltimore Enoch Pratt Free Library. Clubs, restaurants, shopping centers, food markets, museums, monuments, and local Baltimore Culture are all within minutes walking distance from our front door! It has been said that the Baltimore Hostel offers hotel quality accommodations within a hostel setting. In total we have 44 beds situated in 12, 8, and 4 bed dormitories. Much of the hostel has been fully restored over the past several years by volunteers from the Potomac Area Council of HI-USA. Here at the Baltimore Hostel the old meets the new as modern renovations combine with original 19th century architecture and decor.
