Our Salon has been open as "Honey Salon" since June 21st 2006 and was previously called "Every Six Weeks." We are committed to making our clients happy, comfortable and above all beautiful!! Keri Carr is the owner as well as a stylist along with six others:Susanna Kuta, Teri Lamade, Amanda Latham, Angela Chan, Ashley Mathews and Julie Johnson. We keep up on our education by taking as many hair cutting and coloring classes that we can. We are proud to carry the product line Bumble & Bumble exclusively. Come and see us sometime (you might run into some local celebrities like musicians Sherman Baker, Dana Gumbiner, Mike Farrel and DJ Eddie Adul, music critics Jackson Grifith and Jerry Perry and news reporters KCRA 3's Richard Sharp and Channel 13's David Begnaud, or our very own city planner Ray Kerridge)! I have been with Keri for over 10 years now and would not trust my hair to anyone else. She is by far the best hairstylist out there. She can work wonders with my hair. I love that she has her own place it is such a comfortable place to get your hair done. All the other stylist are great too.

Kari is AWESOME...I left my stylist after 16 years and went with Kari after my sister suggested her. Worked wonders with my hair. Best cuts ever!

The salon has a casual and friendly vibe. Keri has been styling my hair for about 7 years now. I love that she opened her own place. She works wonders with my mop. I get compliments on my hair and I know it is not because I have great hair...I have a great cut!

Keri is the greatest. I actually found her in the News and Review for being one of the best hair stylist. I have been going to her every since and I can't say enough good things about her. She has saved my hair which was in really bad shape before. She not only cares about your needs but she also cares about the condition of your hair.

I have been with Teri and Keri for over 10 years. Refuse to go anywhere else. Great enviorment clean and professional. I always feel like a million bucks when leaving the Honey Salon.

Honey Salon has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I have been a client of Keri's for over 5 years and have always loved the haircuts she gives me. She is a wonderful stylist for both women and men (my boyfriend goes to her as well). She has given me some really great styles that have sassed up this simple girl! Keri really takes time with her clients to get to know their needs and also help them step out of their comfort zone. I now live in San Francisco and plan my trips home around my haircuts because I know how difficult it can be to find a great stylist. I cannot say enough good things about Keri and Honey Salon.

I have had nothing but positive experiences when dealing with Keri. Her most recent Salon, called the Honey Salon, has a nice, professional atmosphere. I would highly recommend Keri's services.

I waited a year after moving to Sacramento before I had a haircut because I was afraid to let anyone touch my hair. Someone recommended Keri...and I instantly fell in love with her skills and wonderful chairside manner. She does fabulous hair and color...I got to the point where I just let her do whatever she thought would work. Keri and Susanna have always gone out of their way to fit me in at the last minute and have always made me feel like family. It became a retreat to come in.
I've since moved to New York...and plan my hair appointments around visits...because I just don't want to have my hair done anywhere else. I've sent many people to Keri and they've all been so grateful. For outstanding cuts, color and conversation...Honey Salon is it.

Honey Salon is great! Keri is great, she is perfect every time I come in. The salon is always clean and is a very comfortable environment. They have the best stylist in town, and the best products available. I always consult Keri before making any decision about my hair and what I use on it. Do yourself a favor and go to Honey Salon before you go anywhere else.

I have been more than completely satisfied with the service I have received from Keri and other staff at Honey Salon. Keri has always treated me with courtesy and professionalism. In my view, she is an excellent stylist who takes pride in her work and the satisfaction of her clients.

I've been going to Keri ever since she started doing hair. I love that she knows exactly what to do and I never have to worry. I've followed her through any move and I'm really excited that she has her own salon now. I actually live in Los Angeles and went to a couple of high end Beverly Hills salons when I first came down here and was disappointed with the results. So I don't mind the trek to see Keri.
I love her new salon. It's inviting, fun and everyone there is so friendly. I wish her and the crew lots of success!

I have been going to Keri since she first started doing hair. I've followed her whenever she's made a move and am really pleased with her new salon. I currently live in Los Angeles, and still make my way back to Sacramento to have Keri do my hair as she is the only person I've come to trust with my hair. I've tried a couple of high end Beverly Hills salons and was disappointed with the results. So, even though it's a trek, she is more than worth it! Her salon is friendly, inviting, and everyone there always makes me feel so welcome!

There's nothing more unprofessional than personal attacks like the one above on a web site like this. I discovered Honey Salon during a brief trip from NYC -- where you have to wait months for an appointment (if you can get in at all) and you'll never get the TLC and expert styling (not to mention FUN!) that you get every time you visit Honey Salon! If you want "professional" call your stock broker. The kids at Honey are hip AND have a heart -- that makes them the best in my book.

I am a customer at Honey Salon and I have never been happier with my hair style and the overall service I have been provided at a salon. The staff is exceptionally courteous and makes you feel right at home. Their salon has a great atmosphere and their employees are the best at what they do. I was greeted at the door by Courtney whose friendly attitude and warm smile made me feel instantly welcome. Keri provided me with a thermal straightening treatment, which is the best thing I have ever done, and an amazing cut, while keeping me comfortable and entertained. She is so caring and professional. Susanna assisted in my treatment and was also wonderful, she made the treatment go by so quickly, and kept me laughing the whole time. I had a great experience at Honey Salon, and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I LOVE KERI CARR!!! Honey Salon is wonderful salon with stylists and staff who go above and beyond to make clients feel comfortable and welcome. There aren't many salons like that! "Skilled" is an understatement they are fabulous!!!

I have been a loyal customer at Honey Salon since it opened. I have nothing bad to say about them. They are always friendly and make me feel like I am welcomed and at home. I also really like that they have coffee, water and soda.

I was a loyal customer of Keri Carr - now the owner of Honey Salon - for 3 1/2 years. Keri is an excellent, skilled hair stylist. However, she is not reliable or professional. During the 3 1/2 years I was a customer, my appointments were constantly rescheduled or cancelled. There were a number of times where amount of reschedules resulted in me having to wait over a month from my original appointment time. For 3 1/2 years, I said nothing to Keri and just put up with her operating methods because she is a good stylist. Finally, this month, when she had one of her staff (Courtney) call me to reschedule an appointment for the 3rd time, I let Courtney know that I was not pleased. I stated that I had a busy schedule as well and asked that Keri call me back to discuss the constant rescheduling. Keri was in the salon at the time and said she would call me right back. Since then, I have left 2 more messages and she has never called me back. Courtney was also exceptionally rude to me although I have never had any dealings with her or met her before.
I think it is important for consumers to have an opportunity to provide feedback on their experiences with local businesses. With regards to Honey Salon, it's owner, and it's staff, I would say that they are skilled and the physical atmosphere is very nice. But if you are looking for a hair salon where you will be treated with professionalism, respect, and courtesy, I suggest you look elsewhere.
