The Hairloft was first established in 1959 as a barber shop. In September of 1972, it was purchased by the Julian family and renamed to The Hairloft. This is where Bill Schmittling started his career at the age of 7. The Julian family had him shinning shoes, sweeping floors, cleaning up, and taking care of his soon to be clients. In 1985, Bill bought The Hairloft. Bill and his staff take pride in the work that they do. They often attend hair shows all over North America to keep updated with the latest trends. The staff at The Hairloft are highly trained and qualified to answer all of your questions.

I look forward to my visit at he Hairloft as all the people their are so nice and take the time to welcome you and make you feel like part of their family. Bill the owner is a great person as is his sister Nancy who sits at the front desk and makes appointments. Yvonne is my hair dresser and she is a great gal that I have known for years. Pat always makes me laugh with his little tidbits of information.
Yvonne is the best hairstylist ever. She really is hip on the new trends and her highlighting techniques are great. Nancy is the most pleasant receptionist to make appointments with. Sue is great with kids! My daughter loves her!
I have been going to the Hairloft for years....couldn't be happier! Bill, owner and sister, Nancy, receptionist are awesome! They and their entire staff treat their customers with the utmost care and respect. They are the best!!
