Green Brain Comics is a family owned and operated comic book store located in the real motor city, Dearborn, Michigan. Our goal is to provide a comic book store that has something for everybody. With a clean well-lit atmosphere, excellent customer service and the most diverse selection of mainstream and small press comics in the Metro Detroit area, you will find out why Detroit News readers voted Green Brain Comics the Best Comic Book Store in Michigan.

The people at Green Brain make the difference. I have followed their moves and name changes but the friendliness and love off the artform is always there.

the areas best selection of graphic novels! green brain supports local writiers and artists and the community around them by hosting creative events and fund raisers for food banks. the give presentations on reading and art in local libraries and schools, and have won many awards for thier dedication and service. so why shop there? because you won't find anyone else who loves comics as much as dan and katie, and that comes across in every aspect of what they do. 24 hours a day they are immersed in the art of comics - they live and breathe what they love. stop by their shop to experience the joy of reading and art.

Since helping be out of a comic jam (missing an issue of The Incredible Hulk-oh the humanity!) many years ago, I have kept coming back ever since. Aside from always having what you need in stock, or will get it for you, Green Brain has great community ties and should be proud of that. Every Free Comic Day is great there. Now that my son is reading, he loves coming to the shop. They have a great young reader section. Great job Dan, Katie, and the rest of the happy helpful staff. See you Wednesday. One final note. I have my stylish t-shirt, when are you guys going to sell some hats?

Greenbrain gives the best free comic book day event. I enjoy checking out the store and just going up each isle to see what's new and exciting. Great group of guys. Very kind and always there to help with any questions I might have. Class joint.

I walked in one day five years ago after nearly 20 years of being out of comics and 10 long boxes later...I am still there. They stay true to the art form without the cards and dolls.

Green Brain fills a need in the world of comics - they support indie creators, they run a small press expo, they carry the best selection of indie comics and graphic novels. Dan and Katie give back even more than they get because comics are their pride and joy. You will not find 2 people more in love with their job and their profession than Dan and Katie. Green Brain is an asset to the comic book community. I love their selection and I love that they get me to read!! They even work with local libraries to promote reading!! What more could you possibly ask for? These guys really know and care about what they do.

They sell comics because they love the medium not because they love the money. It's the love for what they do that really shines through in every experience. So many comic shops now-a-days are staffed with apathetic folks who either don't care about your particular choice or just plain don't care.
You can also order practically anything that is still available and have it in no time. Add on the community involvement and support of fellow local businesses and you get not only the best comic shop but one of the best local businesses period.

The atmosphere at Green Brain is one that welcome everyone from the community near and far and I like to think that's what separates them from everyone else. There is always something exciting going on there that you know about through the news. Keep up the good work guys.

On a very desperate day searching for an issue of the Hulk my old shop sold out of, Green Brain came through for me, and I've been coming back ever since. There isn't enough space here to compliment them, for holding new releases for you when you're out of town, to supporting the local Dearborn community, to having one of the coolest logos on a t-shirt. They're the best. Stop by and see.

Hands down the best comic store in Michigan. The only place with a serious selection of alternative, artsy, and comic-lit material. Run by great people who really know and really care. Up there with the great comic stores anywhere. Thanks guys!
