Formerly Shino, Snappy Sushi on Newbury has long been a favorite Boston sushi spot. They switched over to brown rice only a while ago, which is fine with me. Its cheap and tasty; however, the wait is usually a bit too long for my tastes. -

Super Fusion Cuisine is an old standby. I'm always willing to sacrifice ambiance for taste/value and while the big guns on the Brookline sushi scene get all of the press, it's the little ones that make it the best.
