Established in 1976 by Gino Ruotolo, Gino’s has become one of Boston’s Best salons. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, it offers the most chic and contemporary hairstyles. The personalized service that each client revives ultimately leads to lasting relationships. As a native of Naples, Italy, Gino prides himself on treating each client as if they are a member of his own family. With a highly motivated and energized staff, trained by Gino, Gino’s is renowned for its cutting-edge approach to hair. Each cut and coloring is customized to each client’s individuality and lifestyle making them a “cut above the rest.” Over the years, Gino’s has been the recipient of many honors and awards. Boston Magazine has awarded Gino with its own Best of Boston distinction three times. Intercoiffure Mondial awarded the prestigious Ordre de la Chevaliere Knight Award to Gino in honor of his outstanding contributions to the international fashion industry. Following suit is Gino’s daughter, Giuliana, who was the first woman to win the prestigious Intercoiffure Young Designer Award. Gino had been a board member of Intercoiffure America, a national prestigious organization, for over ten years and is currently serving as a member today. Gino’s trend-setting hair designs have been featured in Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar as well as popular makeover television shows, Ambush Makeover and A Makeover Story.

Have been going to Evelyn for years - - very professional.
They've just increased the prices. Far too expensive for the service they provide, and very unpleasant and rude staff! Wouldn't recommend!
Gino provides the highest quality service on an absolutely consistent basis. Color is natural and healthy, often with glossing for shine. Cuts are unique and somewhat different in look each time.
Superior, personal hair cutting.

Gino lavishes his clients with impeccable hospitality, outstanding products, and above all, a team of expert and conscientious hair stylists... My favorite is Lucette who has taught me how to discipline my stubborn, color-weary hair! Gino's is my bi-weekly/monthly treat... the only aesthetic respite I allow myself.

Evelyn at Gino is hands down the best hair stylist I have ever had. She is truly an artist who deserves recognition. Thank you to Evelyn and the rest of the Gino staff for everything.
