Fresca was brought to us by the dream of Julio and Zoila Calvo-Perez who arrived in San Francisco from Lima, Peru in the winter of 1978. Upon arrival, Julio landed a chef job at the very popular Alejandros Peruvian Spanish Cuisine,a hot restaurant in the 70's and 80's. Mr. Calvo-Perez continued his culinary journey throughout the city. Years of hard work and determination paid off greatly. In the summer of 1996, Fresca was born.
